A behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the new stained glass windows of Notre-Dame, one year before their inauguration in 2026.

Claire Tabouret was selected through a highly competitive process to design the next generation of windows for Notre-Dame. She has just completed the templates for 6 new stained glass panels in the south aisle chapels, representing 5% of the surface area of the cathedral’s 120 existing windows. Her preparatory work includes a puzzle of nearly 700 pieces. This catalogue tells the story of this project with a humanistic and universal approach.
