Born from exchanges between the artist and students at the Sorbonne School of Arts, this book builds on a symposium organized at Université Paris-1-Panthéon-Sorbonne by Hervé Bacquet, which brought together poets, artists, writers, and philosophers to reflect on Bernard Moninot’s work. The chapters synthesize these dialogues and interviews, detail the intellectual foundations of his practice (whose artistic approach resembles that of a researcher), and expand upon his biography to explore the bodies of work that make up his artistic corpus.
