At the start of the modern era, Saint Joseph emerged from the obscurity to which bigotry seemed to have consigned him, receiving worship from a specific sect. The Church brought the saint to the attention of the faithful, and the saint showed par excellence that a God-given paternity. Saint Joseph is also the culmination of an entire genealogical line revealing this genuine paternity, as per the Old Testament, and this book brings that to light through exceptional work on iconography: a historic approach to works of art and an anthropological contribution.
