Also under review: questions grappling with digital mock-ups or digital twins, parametric modeling and algorithmic processes, various formes of simulation and/or optimization, issues of information exchange and interoperability, construction methods with automatation and the use of robots or even augmented reality. Different ways, means, and practices of AI shed new light on the relationship between nature and culture, enabling us to rethink how buildings fit into their surrounding environments.
