Revolution in Egypt and Women's Rights
The story of women's struggle for human rights during the 2013 protests in Egypt.

Cairo: two years after Mubarak’s fall, Egyptians take to the streets to demand the resignation of newly elected president Mohamed Morsi. Tired of the endless revolution, Layla chooses to focus on her studies instead. But Asim, her childhood friend, is obsessed with politics and insists that she come with him to Tahrir Square. Layla, feeling the winds of freedom blowing, eventually gives in. What she doesn’t know is that Tahrir Square will be the scene of horrific sexual assaults, of which she will be one of dozens of victims.
