A body is found in the Guaire River in Caracas. Detective Enrique Dávila is put in charge of the case. As his neighbor frets over her son's disappearance, Enrique receives a call: the young hostage will be returned for a USB drive containing photos of women. That's when Enrique's partner suddenly perishes in a so-called car accident. With help from his new partner, Enrique takes a new case: the murder of a young woman whose face is oddly familiar to him. But the deeper he goes into this mystery, which leads him toward a subsidiary of the national oil company, the less his superiors seem willing to back him up.
