Autumn, 1882: a man slaughters an actress in a back street of the town of Amiens. He signs his crime ‘Nemo’. Claudine Delafuye disguises herself and impersonates a young journalist in order to assist Inspector Gaston Chastagnol and her uncle, the famous Jules Verne, in their investigation. They will have to explore the underbelly of the mill town to solve the case and catch the serial killer. As a member of this team, Jules Verne takes on the lead role, putting all his literary and scientific skills at the service of this new criminal brigade in order to expose a murderer besmirching the good name of his fictional character Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
