Édith and her father Bachir live in a neighborhood without any nature. Bachir's stories inspire Édith to dream of a cedar on the only patch of grass. With the community, they secretly plant the tree, which becomes the neighborhood’s symbol. Édith grows up, becomes mayor, and transforms the city into a forest. Later, she returns, moved, to think about her father and their cedar. A story of hope, transmission, and action, encouraging children to build a better future.
