Shoots are little creatures that live in the forest. They sleep hidden underground during the day and they wake up at night. All is well in the Shoot world… until the day the next legend guardian is chosen. Nettle is sure she’ll be chosen, like her father and her grandfather before her! But in the end, her nemesis, Raspberry, is entrusted with the role of protecting the Book of Legends. Nettle decides to leave their village, and venture into a world where no Shoot has ever gone before.
