Bedtime is linked to nature as the sun sets, birds fly away, and moths bump up against the window… Pajamas, a cuddly toy, a bedtime story, a goodnight kiss… and the moon keeping watch: each element is captured with poetry and tenderness.
Like a refrain, the text plays with repetition and the words fade, as though making space for the night, as we drift to sleep. Thanks to Bernadette Gervais’s talent, this everyday moment becomes an enchanted ritual.
