In the face of the grownups’ folly, children and teens set out on a perilous quest to restore harmony between Gaia and nature.

Fleeing toward the Islands of Polysia to escape the destructive follies of the grownups, these children and teens have a quest: they must find the Black Pearl, the last pearl-making oyster capable of lifting the curse that has struck Gaia. But first they must obtain the protection of the birds, determine the oyster’s location, and face a war-hungry tribe on the Island of Oua Po. United by their cry, "TE AO O TE TAMARII", they take charge of their fate to save nature and reestablish harmony.
