Odile the seagull is starving! And that little mackerel down there looks like the perfect lunch. Odile can practically taste it! She concentrates, spreads her wings, and dives, beak wide open… except that just then, a fisherman pulls in his net and steals her prey! The mackerel slips right through her fingers –or beak rather– but never mind, Odile is an optimistic bird to say the least! She’ll get it next time! Or the next time… or the time after that…
