One day, Albert finds a bird drinking water on his balcony. So he hospitably does his best to make his guests comfortable, going so far as to inviting them to his home by the dozens and letting them take over his life and habits. When the final inconvenience finally breaks the camel’s back, this impassive man eventually loses his temper. But when the birds leave, Albert begins to feel the void left by his friends’ departure, and goes out looking for them.
