A fantastic tale of initiation, and an ode to sisterhood.

Sayuri lives with her grandmother on an island, in the middle of the woods. Healer-witches from generation to generation, they watch over the villagers, but are strictly forbidden from fraternizing with them, unless they’re administering a cure. Their gentle life is punctuated by seasonal visits from the Great Champelier. As the ceremony for her 18^th birthday is approaching, Sayuri, who is thirsty for adventure, discovers a secret that could very well turn the established order on its head…
