A game of echoes that invites readers to take a new look at modern art, all while honing their knowledge of the 9^th art.

The catalogue reproduces iconic pages by Edmond-François Calvo, Will Eisner, Hergé, George Herriman, Winsor McCay, and Geo McManus, accompanied by an introductory text by Anne Lemonnier. Then, masterpieces from the collections are confronted with fifteen great authors. For each, a short text sheds light on the connection: homage paid to an artist by an author, a quote in the page of a comic, or a more secret relationship.
