To free her loved ones from a curse, Nikki embarks on a quest fraught with all kinds of dangers, whose magnitude she could never have imagined.

A terrible curse has fallen on Nikki’s village, petrifying the villagers one by one. Having had no news from her father for more than ten years, Nikki decides to follow in his footsteps and go look for a cure. Over the course of her desperate quest, she is taken in by a community defending itself against attacks from a distant planet. With the help of her mechanical legs and a mischievous little robot, Nikki decides to fight alongside them, and discovers powers she never knew she had.
