Hunters vs. nature lovers: not easy bedfellows! But a bit of humor, and their conflict can be made clear to children.

A boy who has just moved to the countryside with his environmentally conscious parents dreams of being taken in by his new friend Max and their family. After all, they eat sausage, candy, and chips, watch TV and play video games on a giant screen, and have a hot tub! Whereas in his home, everything is banned—everything! Max and his family even have a nifty collection of rifles for hunting game. But when the hunting season starts and, much to the boy's surprise, all the forest animals come seeking refuge at his house, his life is turned upside down!
