Rose's parents are always fighting. So much so that she's decided to go and live with her grandfather three houses down the block. And she won't come back home until she's grown up as tall as the mark on the wall. She's made up her mind! But life with her lonely old grandfather isn't going to be as peaceful as Rose imagines.
