Artists Hans von Eufourie and John Morose have known each other forever. But though Von Eufourie and his paintings of cats have met with resounding success, the art world keeps Morose an outsider. Unable to create, Morose refuses to see that he is paralyzed by his doubts. But one day, his favorite art supply store is replaced by a pet shop. Morose returns home with an adorable puppy. In his little house, Morose comes to know a devoted new companion, and wonders: has fate finally decided to give him a chance?
