Emerging en masse from the elevator, they look like a pack of zombies about to attack. At least, that's Marc's first impression of these seniors. He's just landed a job at a retirement community whose residents are fortunate enough to still be leading more or less independent lives. On the first day, he is welcomed by Hamad, who shows him around and shows him the ropes. Rule #1: Wear comfortable sneakers, you’ll be covering 15 miles per day. Rule #2: When addressing residents, don’t be afraid to speak loudly (that means VERY LOUDLY). Rule #3: When pushing a wheelchair, don't forget the brakes—the community is situated on a hill!
