Like his father and grandfather before him, Edgar Bottillon happily runs the family business: a confetti factory! But his wife, Edwige Mitaine, hardly shares his passion. Confetti has become her worst nightmare. She finds it everywhere: on her dessert tray, on every step of the stairs, on her flannel sheets... even in her underwear! She's had enough! Edwige packs her bags, leaving Edgar all alone. How can he make confetti in every color of the rainbow when his heart's in pieces? And indeed, the new confetti turns out all gray...
