We were warned, and now ecological disaster is finally upon us. In a world where the continents have vanished, a father and his son live in a houseboat on the water. Their daily routine is far from restful; life at sea is turbulent, and danger ever at hand. In between repairs, explorations, epic fishing trips, and nautical encounters, the father tells stories of a time when he lived on land, of his departed wife, of underwater creatures. He tells his son how humans made floating cities to survive and band together in a world turned upside down when dry land disappeared.
