The fall is a hard one, and he is badly hurt, which to his great distress, makes him ugly. How to recover and become the beautifully furry bear he once was? Sad and scarred, Kintsugi sits down in a stream, at a loss. Kaori, a little girl from a village downstream, sees his blood flowing in the water and bravely goes to treat his wounds.
