From the first protests by high schoolers to exile in camps on the Turkish border, Noor has had a front-row seat to the Syrian Revolution as it slides toward civil war. What began as a dream has become, for her and her friends, a vital form of struggle: bearing witness, taking stock, telling the world what's happening in their country. Their only weapon? The smartphone. From Ghouta to the governorate of Idlib, Noor learns over the years that a girl has to be twice as brave if she wants to be a reporter.
