Everyone in Soweto loves soccer except Sipho, who prefers rugby – a white people sport! But now that apartheid is over, things are about to change…

Rugby may be a "white people" sport, but Sipho loves it! Most other boys in his hometown of Soweto make fun of him for it, backing the "Bafana Bafana" national soccer team instead. But things have started to change. The international community is opening its doors to South Africa, and they'll be hosting the 1995 Rugby World Cup! Their team, the Springboks, now includes Chester Wiliams, a Black player who will stir passions and rally fans behind him.
