Dubai, the crossroads of neoliberal globalization, is the incarnation par excellence of the advantages associated with being a white Westerner. Through accounts from over a hundred inhabitants and expatriates, this work offers readers a unique and incisive glimpse into the current reconfigurations of Western hegemony.
