Female victims of violence recover and return to their lives after a therapeutic fencing class.

Lucie sleeps with a knife in her hand. She lives in fear, terrified of all men. Tamara is a fighter, constantly on guard: to make sure she’s never going to be a victim again, she’s become the aggressor. Nicole has chosen to retreat from life instead, fading away so she can’t be a target anymore. All three were victims of sexual violence. To get back on track, they pick up swords. A therapeutic fencing class will help them recover, and start to reach out again –a year-long program to save themselves and take back control of their own lives.
