A cop in search of redemption dives into the dark world of human trafficking, a world of despair and everyday assault that these girls dream of escaping.

After a night spent drinking his pain away, Commissioner Blandin, whose wife has just left him, is called to an apparent crime scene: a young woman's body has been found in a parking lot. The forensic pathologist concludes that she died of natural causes and the case is closed.
