A novel about migrants that goes beyond clichés.

Basile knows that many migrants travel through the region. He’s heard about camps and trafficking, young men and women hanging onto the bottoms of trucks, sometimes getting themselves killed doing so. He knows so much about things that have nothing to do with him. Then, one day, he meets four boys in a deserted train station, and everything changes. The boys are nervous, they hide from him, the police have been after them ever since they ran away from the center for unaccompanied minors. When one of them is kidnapped by a human trafficker, Basile has no other choice than set out one night to try and find a young boy he barely knows. A migrant, kdnapped by the mafia.
