A seminal 20th-century architect, Le Corbusier left a lasting mark on modern design, architecture, and urban planning through his numerous internationally recognized projects, such as the Villa Savoye near Paris and the Cité radieuse in Marseille. A champion of "rational" housing, he also worked with Charlotte Perriand on designing a line of furniture where function reigned. Comics publisher Dupuis, in partnership with the Cité de l'Architecture and the Le Corbusier Foundation, pays tribute to him in this this edifying overview of the architect's last fifteen years. Illustrations are paired with numerous photos.
