Seidou had never thought about leaving Guinea, until he was forced to flee at the age of 33 to save his own life. He had a high school education, a good job, a happy life. When persecutions against the Fula people during the presidential elections, Seidou became one of the leaders of a protest movement that was violently repressed by the powers that be. With his life in danger, he has no choice but to flee. He plans to leave for Bamako, wait for things to settle down, and then return. But things do not go as planned...
