The aim of the "Librairie francophone de référence" label is to support the presence of French books abroad by encouraging the development of a network of accredited bookstores committed to promoting their collections, with a rich and diversified offer of books in French and/or other languages of France.

The aim of the grant for training managers of French Language bookstores abroad is to help bookstores managers improve and enhance their business and focus on their role as promoters of French culture and books abroad. 

The aim of the grant for foreign French language bookstores and bookstores accredited as “librairies francophones de référence”, is to help create, develop and update a network of French Language bookstores abroad to promote French books around the world.
